Lyon and environs...

This is an alley you find right behind a most common door... It leads to a peaceful little house in the heart of the neighborhood, who'd had thought?

My neighbors' stairacase. I can't help and imagine there are hundreds of them scattered across the city...

If you start walking these stairs, you won't reach the top before a good 500 meters! It goes on and on to my living room...

Beutiful gate to a beautiful domain in the Île-Barbe (up the Saône).

Some old ... Don't know actually (but it's old! =). It's lost on the flank of the hill and I couldn't find a way to get up there.

These pictures remind why I wanted to start photography. I find that scary and beautiful at the same time...
